A Bowl Full of Mis'ry
Santa's lost the elves. His faithful deer
Have traveled south and disappeared.
His sack's unraveled. A frantic Mrs. Claus
Has moved into her sister-in-law's.
Rudolph, drunk on fame, got bold
And hauled more weight than he could hold.
The North Pole's melted. Candy canes
Litter clammy island chains.
Frosty's button nose and corncob pipe 're
Lying in a puddle like the fallout from a sniper.
But Santa, on the street, is singing Christmas songs.
He's got a sack, he's got resolve, he's gonna get along.
